The 2016 6th on the 6 is already in the planning stages, so keep an eye on this page for details..

We’ll travel across Iowa on Historic US 6, and see the towns and landscape you would otherwise miss from the interstate. Remember, our motto is No Interstates, and no chain restaurants – Just two lane blacktop, and mom and pops.

**NOTE** Early runs of our postcards mentioned lunch at Iowa River Power. We enjoyed our lunch there last year, and may return in the future. This year we will be enjoying lunch at one of four restaurants in Tiffin. Also, because of the premiere of River to River: Iowa’s Forgotten Highway 6, there will be no Open House at Dahl Ford’s Old Car Home, in order to allow the Dahls to attend the movie premiere.

Join us for the Road Trip of the year, as we travel across Iowa on America’s longest highway! It’s not too late to join. Simply pre-register online, and or show up at one of our stops. Don’t have a classic car? Follow along, or come to the event stops!

For 2015, we are soliciting a voluntary donation of $20.00 per vehicle (which includes a 2015 dash plaque for pre-registered participants, or while supplies last. This donation is necessary to help cover the expenses of putting on this event and getting the publicity needed to promote this great highway. Because we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your $20.00 donation is tax-deductible and helps cover our costs and to reach accomplish our common goal of putting Historic Highway 6 back on the map.
